Akita in Woodbridge

I went for lunch on a Thursday, place was neat, I was greeted at the door.. I ordered salmon roll and chicken terryaki role for to go. It was ready within 5 minutes. Even tho the sushi looks good in the picture, it tastes absolutely stale and awful. The chicken was dry and stale. It felt like it was made iver a week ago and let it sit on the coutnter for days before it was served with me.. The salmon sushi was ok. Compared to. Other sushi places the price is similar but quality is not optimal. I wouldn't go again.

I ordered sushi today for pick up of course because of Covid-19. When I got home the food looked and smelt amazing but when I ate the sushi ( I ordered 2 spicy tuna rolls, 1 Spicy salmon roll and a funny roll) there was little to no fish in the sushi rolls I called them and all they could suggest was a credit for next time as if I would go back there. I have even made a video of me taking a part each individual roll to show that 99% of all 4 rolls were just tempura bits. The lady I spoke to over the phone simply told me that some people like it more crispy, but if that was the case I would have specified that in my order. Sushi is not cheap because of the seafood and fish so to spend close to $60 for sushi that did not have fish is quite absurd. I would go into the store to demand a refund but I am not allowed into the store. Please someone let me know how to upload a video to this review because I’m just absolutely disappointed!!!

I did tje all you can eat here last year and it was not bad. Recently did an order on Uber Eats and jt wasn’t tasty at all. I was pretty surprised! The forest roll wasn’t as advertised and broccoli and chicken was flavourless. Maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen, but it was definitely not worth the price paid.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work nearby. I got to say the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve big portions.

I recently tried placing an order with this restaurant on UberEats, after several attempts it would not let me because it kept saying that the order could not be processed and an option to clear my cart kept popping up. I decided to clear my cart and order from another sushi restaurant. A few minutes later I get a notification from this restaurant saying my order is being processed, I immediately canceled because I had placed an order with another restaurant at this point. However, I am being charged for the order from this restaurant even though I had canceled it. I am leaving this review as UberEats told me the couldn’t help me and to leave a review for you guys.

Good food and prices! However I did not get the 15% take out discount even though there was a sign at the entrance!

This place provides wonderful service as well as delightful food. My favourite restaurant in town. The food came out quickly and the rates are economical. I recommend this place.

I here almost every weekend with friends for lunch. Large menu that actually MAKES QUALITY SUSHI!!! oh and lunches before 3pm is super cheap!!! My new go to.

Excellent sushi...no in person service to place order

Very well kept and welcoming spot. They offer large portions and for affordable prices. We enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were very amiable and chatty. I recommend this place.

Space was decent, decor was okay,ambiance was inviting. I visited the place for lunch with my mom. We were so full. Lol. Tried to try as much as we can. Food was good, hot, fresh and flavours are not overpowering. Would come back. And they have good selections too. Wasn't able to try sashimi as it's only bwing served for dinner.

I ordered takeout and was pleased with the portion size for the rolls (8pcs) instead of the usual 6 like most places. The rolls had just the right amount of rice and a generous amount of filling. Fish and avocado were fresh and flavourful and the price was average and not hiked up like other Sushi restaurants in WoodbridgeUpdate - went for dinner and everything was fresh and service was quick. Only complaint was some of the meat options weren't good quality and had a weird flavour

I Love this place... I'm a regular there and they treat me well which in turn I provide a good tip. They remember this and keep the service consistent. The food is great and the service matches their food.

Sometimes the place is good. Everyone is angry in the customer service as per usual. But this time the rice was not done on the sushi and everything was dry.

First time I've ordered from here. And it was beyond my expectation by how delicious all the sushi was. Specifically the: 102. Sushi winter. Incredible portion and beautiful presentation. Will definitely order again!

It's an okay place to go overall. The all you can eat sushi variety and quality is good but chicken and beef items, not so good. The ingredients didn't seem fresh. They do have brown rice so that's a plus point. Tataki salmon is served on weekends and holidays only and is a must have! The service could be faster.

My favourite all you can eat sushi place. I've tried many others and I am never as satisfied at the end of the meal. I frequent Akita with dining in, taking out, and even ordering party trays for guests, and everyone loves it!

Sushi was good, a lot of spice added flavour to the sushi, fast service but there was some delays but didn't mind - my go to sushi place now.

Great all you can eat restaurant. Lots to choose from if you don't want all you can eat. They also have a great beer option that very affordable if you drink Molson Canadian for only $3.50 a bottle.

I usually dont write reviews that the value that I acquired for this store is amazing. I ordered california rools, sushimi, soup, everything is amazing. Moreover they included a face mask. Although we did not interact in person I can feel that they care about its customers.

Went here for lunch. The menu is smaller than the dinner. Food quality was good. Service was quick too. Some of the dishes ordered never came so we had to ask them again. Prices are of your average sushi place.

Great food. Fast service. Did not like that they included the tip in the bill. We where 6 people. Guess we should have said we will pay separately. I tip. But being forced to is not what I like. So be aware of that when you go there.

Overall quality is good. Raw fish on rice was really fresh, especially the white tuna and salmon. Prices are in range of other competing restaurants. I recommend giving this place a chance.

Soba noodles were slightly overcooked and can you spot the eel in the cowboy roll? Ya, neither could we. It was also a tad bit too sweet for our liking.

Love this place. Good prices to go along with even better sushi. I've tried a few different sushi places and this one is by far the best.

food is good but the most memorable part of my night was the service. water was always filled and although we had waited a while for our table, the man at the front door constantly reassured us he was doing his best (it was very busy). we enjoyed our dinner and felt very accommodated.
